My experience has been that the movie is seldom as good as the book.

Okay.........I'm into a totally different style of books than you guys.

Like onthriver just finished the new JD Robb and also just read the newest Nora Roberts Fire Chaser and enjoyed both of them. Am also into a couple of different vampire series by JR Ward and Lara Adrian. Guess I just like the low brow stuff.

I LOVED Jean Auel's series... But I read it about 15 years ago! I was so excited to see the new book out, but read the reviews and they were awful. I am afraid it will be a waste of time and money. :-(

I just finished "PULSE". Can't remember the author, it is a suspense, myster. REALLY good, just when you think you have it all figured out, there is a new twist to the story. Had a hard time putting it down. Am also re-reading John Grisham books. Just as good as the first time.

Bummer, I have been looking forward to this one for years. I thought I would go to the library and see if it is available.
