OMG, I hope the missing one is safe somewhere. It seems too young to be going off on its own.

I've been totally addicted to the owl cam. All 4 of them are just about grown up and all of them have been outside the owl box flying around.

These cameras really give you an insight to some of nature. I'm so greatful for the people who have them that let us see these wonders of nature happening live.

I think I see the third (missing) chick!! He's off to the left, on a lower ledge. I can just see his head. Phew! relief

Yes, he's safe. They have been going out on the ledge...soon the little hawks will be flying off into the big wide world.

I have been watching the owls..they all have ventured out and the 3 oldest have been flying...Wesley has been out to perch but I don't think he has been flying. The second-oldest (Pattison) brought back a rabbit last night. Sure going to miss them....it is such a wonderful experience watching them grow.

You named your guys?!! I never thought of doing that but, then again, they're not just my hawks.

Thaks for letting me know that they've been going onto the ledge! I was afraid he kind of fell off. _:-(_ Wondered why the other two were hanging out on that left side of the nest.

Wow! they are so big you can hardly tell adult from fledgling! How exciting! I'll be sad when they fledge for good.

Well, I'm back from a week's vacation and the birds, literally, have flown the coop! All three must have fledged while I was gone. Long healthy life to them!! It's been fun.
