    I can't see any difference in this site from the "old" to the "new". Don't have a problem with ads. I have only a few just at the top, not a problem. As others have said, there has to be some ads in order for this site to continue. If you look at the popular blogs you will see ads also, that is what they want and need in order to keep going. If you want to see irritating ads, go to the Better Homes and Gardens website. They have good information, but you have to click through and close so many adds, it is rediculous, but I still go there!

    This board has enriched my life so much, I would have to be pretty petty to complain about it. I am thankful others have stepped in to fill Konstantin's shoes. Thank you.

    (That said, could we try to avoid the flashing ads? I have to quit looking at any page that has anything flashing.) {seizure disorder}

    It is slow, but then my other sites are also somewhat slow. During this time of day there are always more users on their computers, guess you could compare evenings to being like 'rush hour traffic' in the mornings & after work each day. :lol:

    I agree 100%. I can certainly deal with the Ads here. No problem. And with things running a bit slow...I can certainly deal with that too. I just appreciate us having this Board and the knowledge as well as the friendships here to enjoy. To me, this Board is a huge blessing in so many ways. I appreciate the Admin, the Moderators and whoever else is on the backside keeping this such a wonderful place to hang out! Thanbk You ALL.

    The free ads have never bothered me. Think the new board is fine.
