Remember the lonely
#1
Christmas is fast approaching and everyone is busy doing last minute shopping and preparations, and all our thoughts are on the big day, however, there are some people out there who are alone and don't have the company of friends and family at this festive time and spend a lonely time on their own, I would just like to say, and I think I speak for all the people on this board, that we are thinking of you and wish you all a very Happy Christmas and New Year.
God Bless.

I would like everyone to remember the families of the military serving away from home. I pray, honor and respect the men and women that serve our country as we all should. I think of the family that is left at home. The parents, brothers and sisters with an empty chair at Christmas dinner. The spouses that many times work to help pay the bills while walking the floor at night with a sick child, dealing with the washer that overflows and the car that won't start. All the while keeping a strong smile so their loved ones in the service won't worry about those at home. Please keep these families in your prayers.

And all the ones stuck in a hospital or nursing home...and sadly ones that have family members who do not live close enough to visit....I remember as a kid we would go to several nursing homes to sing Christmas songs on Christmas Eve and many would cry but happy cries....and many, many smiles...
