Hi,
I am determined to live a healthier life.
I discovered Marilu Henner;s website marilu.com a few years back: http://www.marilu.com/
When I follow her nutrition plan I feel so fantastic!
Has anyone from the quilting boards ever followed her nutriton and lifestyle plan?
Love to hear from you if you have:)

I have 2 "hobbies/interests": bodybuilding and quilting. Therefore, I "eat clean." This is very close to what you are doing. I avoid sugar, flour, processed foods, caffeine, alcohol, and minimize dairy intake. I eat 5-6 small meals per day. Each meal has complex carbs and protein. By combining the two types of food, it takes the body longer to digest and supposedly burns more calories digesting and keeps blood sugar stable. I am not hungry between meals. I eat every 3 hours and I look at food as fuel and not pleasure or entertainment. I was a size 10-12 in highschool. Now at 38 years old with 2 kids and full time job, I am a size 4. There is a great book and magazine called "Eating Clean." I have been doing this consistently for years. It is not a diet but now how I live.

Is there anything she doesn't do? An immigrant friend of mine was just talking about a parenting book from the library she's been reading. When she took it out, the book "I refuse to Raise a Brat," was actually written by Mary Lou Henner. She seems to live a very full life.
