I have to agree. With 6 dogs in the house we are forever cleaning the white doors & frames. Mr. Clean Eraser is the ONLY thing that works without damaging the paint.

could try sugar soap - its the stuff we use here for cleaning painted surfaces prior to a new coat of paint x

I would check label of 409. Some will soften painted surfaces. Ask me how I know! lol

One time a paint chemist friend gave us some paint. The stuff had a lot of pigment in it. It washed and washed and washed. It was in a stairway. I would try painting the doors with something with a lot of pigment. I wish that guy hadn't retired...

I am a big fan of Mr. Clean Eraser. I use it on the doors and around light switches.
