You are certainly a master craftsman! You have all my admiration.

The room of lost fingers. Otherwise known as my shop. A place to be very careful.
How many fingers are you down to? :!:

These pieces are all beautiful and looks well cared for. My favorite is the display case. They don't make furniture like this any more. We are now a throw away world with Wal-mart type furniture. Thank you for showing us.

Still got them all. I will admit to having nicked two of them on my left hand for the first time in 45 years, but the Docs stitched me up and they are good as new. I really don't like the heavy machinery. It is loud and dangerous. I have always been safety conscious, throughout my carrier, but a moment's inattention, can do a lifetime of damage.

The first one I made about 40 years ago when I started this whole furniture making business. What the old time carpenters would do is make a chest such as that, and they would travel around by wagon and go up to the prospective customers place and open it up and display their fine assortment of tools and the fitted compartments that housed them, as an indication of their degree of expertise. The Blue one is more utility styled. It houses all of the wooden bodied planes. The varnished one houses the metal bodied tools.
