There is a quilt trail around Algood Tenn. I think there are three trails that have tours once a year. I painted a LARGE block and the DH put a frame around it and is hanging it tomorrow. I will post pictures!

On episode of Pickers (History Channel) saw a Barn Quilt block as they were driving along. Really made me start watching.

That Iowa site was fantastic. I wish all the counties had such wonderful pages. Thanks for sharing. We have way too many pics for me to post on this site. It's a favorite pastime when we travel. My next novel is about a quilt barn painter. That is, it will be when I finally stop traveling and get to the writing!! I'm waiting for my own quilt block to arrive. A reader painted a 2x2 Carpenter's Wheel for me. Going on my house this summer.
