I'm so glad most people seem to vote for the beach, that way I'm far less likely to be ...ahem ...interupted on a romantic walk in the mountains!!

Any where I walk with my husband is romantic. We always hold hands and talk. (We have been married for 36 years) But if I had to choose a really romantic spot it would be Lithia Park in Ashland, OR. We met in college in Ashland and used to spend a lot of time in Lithia Park. We go back at least once a year and walk the whole park. We love it.

Mountains, all the way. I've been to the ocean and was awestruck by its spance and power, but animals poop and die in there. Never could get over that :) LOL

I don't live close to either, but I would prefer the walk in the mountains.
