My mother was British, in honor of her, my SIL and I will be staying up all night watching and having Brit foods (bangers, Cadbury stuff, trifle, etc). I watched Charles and Diane live too.

I'm working and don't mind as they are expecting it to be quiet. I'm not really interested, but will catch the highlights in the evening, no doubt it will be hard to escape it lol! DD is off to a street party and I think its nice people have used it as an excuse for a get together.

I will tape it, and watch later and skip thru all of the commercials. I don't believe in "ROYALTY", they just have a lot more money to spend than I ever will. I want to see how the other half lives.
Just think of all of the poor people they could feed and clothe with all of the money spent on this wedding. 8-)

I love weddings...don't care whose it is. The Royals and all their pagentry is something to see...we don't get to experience that kind of protocal very often. It is like a Presidental funeral here..we pull out all the stops and show the world how civilized one can really be!

Me too. I watched the fairy tale wedding of Princess Diana and have become totally disinterested in this one after seeing how her romance ended up. Seeing the dresses might be interesting but that's it.

I'll be up at 4:00 am. I watched Charles and Diana live, and I will watch this one live also. Lots of people sick of it already, but I'm so glad that there is something on TV that's uplifting instead of war and fighting. Good luck to both of them!!!!!!

New tiara? Heck, I am still waiting for DH's family tiara ;-)

I think I will be getting up early and watching. This is history in the making. And when I'm really old, I can hopefully remember sharing the event.

It is l am here so I will watch part of it. Do not go to bed until usually 2:30 am. Otherwise, will catch up on the best parts when they play it the next day.
