How I agree with your comments, and I am proud to be British.
I know that people are cynical and I feel quite sad that on a wonderful wedding day for our future King, some comments on here have been so negative for their future. It happens in all families - whether in Royal / high profile / or in normal family life, that marriages fail - but TODAY let us celebrate the happy couples future together.

DottyD you are so right!! I was just thinking about how Charles was forbidden to marry Camilla in his youth. I'm sure that was hard for him. So what could he do?? He had to find a wife I guess. I loved Diana and think the whole thing was so sad. I hope Wills got to choose his mate.
It seems that he did, right???

I agree with you. It is so nice to see something beautiful take place. I had to laugh at my DH this morning. He kept making comments about who cares, but he was watching this morning as I was. This is a part of history and I wish them only the best. I'm sure Diana was watching from above. Wm has her beautiful smile!

Thanks for sharing your royalty with us yanks!

I thought it was beautiful! I always am happy for the bride who can have her daddy escort her as I missed that for myself. Weddings are always a happy occasion and we can always use more happiness.
