Mr. Bluebird needs to sharpen his talons 'cause we've got some ripping to do! I thought I was paying attention to all my crossing points, but one has escaped me -- on all SEVEN of the blocks I've done so far.
Sigh. Methinks the ripping will keep for tomorrow. Meanwhile I have a song list to build so I can sing while I work! Who can pass up such timeless classics as,
Rip A Dee Doo Dah
Rip It (rip it good!)
Rippy Rippy Shake
and
Riptoe Through the Tulips
While a Rip/Tuck marathon plays silently on the TV...
Number of blocks in the quilt: 20
Number of blocks done: none!

I know, all I can do is laugh. I've been in work h*** for the last two months, and since it takes me almost an hour on each block I've been trying to do one every couple of nights. Every one of those nights I questioned whether I could concentrate enough to work on it. I'm thinking the correct answer was, "no". LOL!

Quilting is an art and an exact science. I have to "feel" creative to do the "art" part, and be exact in the cutting of every piece. If I an not in the right frame of mind, forget it!! I will make mistake after mistake that I may not see right away. Guess that I why I start so many projects at one time. Its my story and I am sticking to it!!

Ha ha ha...oh I so know that feeling. AZTeri posted a question about how long it takes start to finish to complete the entire quilt. I wonder if she will let us deduct Mr Rip time??? lolol I know that would help my times out. ha ha ha I do feel for ya.. I use my Mr Rip so much, that I never misplace that critter. lol

Absolutely ripping time should be deducted, as should the time it took you to stitch it in the first place since it isn't staying! LOL
