Just get you one of those scooters. My mom has one and her insurance paid for it! If you have medicare or medicaid they will usually pay for one if your doctor gives the okay. But different states have different clauses.

I don't have any insurance. I wish I did. I saw one at good well. I have to wait tell DH is home so I can tell him it was $20. so I have to see if there is any money left. Penny

My DH's new favorite thing to do is shop the goodwill stores. He avoids the last Saturday of the month because of the crowds - everything 50% off. He found a nice denim shirt and I covered the logo with another logo I cut out of an old cap.

Carrieg that was a smart idea. I think I'll use it. I have some shirts from where I use to work, with their logo on them, I could just add a pretty patch and I can wear them again.

I missed the 50% off sale at the thrift store I was at the last week. I scored a boat load of sheets for quilting material and for got all about the half off sale Wednesday. Oh well I have to go to the Fabric store tomorrow and pick up some material for the quilt top I am working on now plus some batting.

    I DID IT AGAIN!!!!
Just this mornign went to a garage sale and bought:
    9 yds of cotton knits
14 yds of fabric for clothing
    2 yds of flannel
64 yds of cotton solids and prints.
I didn't count anything less than 1/2 yd
    total: $10.00
I also got Hand Applique by Mimi Dietrich and The Standard Book of Quilt Making and Collecting by Marguerite Ickis for a dollar each. Then I went to an estate sale and bought 20 vintage hankies for a butterfly quilt. They were considerably more.

Wow, you ladies and guys are finding cool things. I'm glad it is now Spring so they will start having garage sales.

Have fun treasure hunting for fabric, crafts, books, and everything under the rainbow.
