This is actually a limerick,no? Been a long time since grade school....

A potholder gone rogue, could it be?
Look a bit closer and you'll be able to see
That there's not been a mistake or bluffing -
It's a rug for your mug plus room for your muffin,
A quilty little gift 'specially for you from me.

Heading for bed and I imagine I will go to sleep trying to think these up.
