    I was at Joann's and decided to buy some ball point needles for my machine, and saw a wide twin needle and bought it too; they are Schmitz. Do you think the twin needle will work in my Janome 15000? I haven't tried it yet; I seem to break every twin needle I get (and they are not cheap) because I forget to put the zig zag foot on. I will try to remember from now on.

    I think needles are pretty much universal. I have used Schmitz and Organ needles as well as Singer and had good luck with all of them.
