I found some neat beads at the flee market and would like to make some scissor fobs. Does anyone know how to make these? I do not want to make the ones with the lobster claw.
    Thank you for any help.

Are you talking about the little things that you hang from your handle to mark them as "yours" or the chatalaines(lanyards) that you hand around your neck? If it's the first, you can double whatever you're stringing your beads on and crimp it about 1 1/2" from the loop, then put your beads on and crimp again. That way you just put the loop through your scissor handles and run the rest of the bead chain through it.

the ones I would like to make look like the ones used for cell phones. What are the beads threaded on? and how do I clamp them?
I will go to the craft store and check out the beading/jewelry supplies, I should be able to figure somethin out.

    thank you for the links.

I don't want the lobster claw. I have one I bought and it tough to get it to fit certain scissors. I want to make the ones with the loop and thread the beads through the loop to attach to scissors.
thank you for the link, the tut was helpful.
