I need help. I purchased a Christmas craft book two years ago that had a large full color picture of a garland made of gingerbread men and women, including instructions for making the garland. The picture showed the garland hanging on a vintage kitchen cupboard, and it was just darling. I made the mistake of loaning the book to a friend, who now says she doesn't remember that she ever had it. I can't remember the title of the book, but it was a large hardback. Makes it pretty hard to find a book when you don't know the title. Does anyone remember seeing this gingerbread garland? I know that Simplicity has a pattern for a similar garland, but it's not nearly as cute as the one in the book. I'll appreciate any help!

Were they paper, sewed or baked? I had assumed baked but there's so many differnt ones out there. I thought this one was cute.

It was a Christmas craft book with lots of patterns in it. I'm thinking it's cover has a red background, but am not positive about that.

    These are sewed gingerbread men.

Could it have been one of the Gooseberry Patch Christmas books? They always have a lot of items that co-ordinate. They usually have a green and white check or red and white check cover and used to be hard cover, but now are more of a soft cover. Will check some of mine and see if I can find it for you.

Will your friend let you rummage thru her craft area to see if your book is there? If not....well, let's just question that friendship! Good luck.

No, it wasn't Gooseberry Patch. I do love their books though.

I think you're probably right. No, in fact she seemed quite miffed that I even asked her about it.
