Searching for a round knitted placemat pattern (free)
One of my friends is looking for a knitted round placemat pattern, for free.
She had one and lost it. I've searched around and haven't been able to find one.
Does anyone here have any idea where I could find such a thing?
Thanks for any help you're able to give.

It's not free, but Craftsy has a pattern for $2:

Actually, it looks as if many patterns for knitted doilies would work.
Here's a different one on Craftsy for $1.60:

Here is a free doily pattern:

And here is a free pattern for flower petal placemats knit in the round:

And here is a free pattern from Ravelry:

Edit: Actually, with a little more searching on my Ravelry account (which is free to set up), I found 12 more circular knitting patterns for placemats. Here are the photos:

Thanks to all of you for the prompt replies, and the diversity of the answers!
I'll get my friend to sit at the computer with me, and we'll start looking for one she likes.
Thanks again,
GEMRM

There's a bunch of yarn companies that have dozens of free patterns on their websites. Lionbrand, caron, bernat, deborah norville, redheart, etc. Also, there are groups on youtube with free tutorials. No need to purchase a pattern these days, unless you absolutely fall in love with one. LOL
