Thanks everyone. I think I had about 20 hours into it. She loved it. I walked into my senior prom and there was a girl with my same dress on:< I had to convince DD I wouldn't dress her like an "old lady" before she allowed me to make it. LOL. I had about $50 in materials and I had to buy a $50 foot for my Bernina. So, all in all $100 for the whole thing.

The dress is exquisite (sp?) It looks like it could have come from a Paris designer. Did you make that from a pattern and if so did you change it up a bit? You should be very proud.

You did a really lovely job. I also like the fact that it's a modest dress, attractive and lovely on her without showing too much skin. I'm not a prude but some of the dresses I see are too skimpy.
