    great job everyone.

I am doing the weight watchers thing and today is a full week so it my official weigh-in day. and I am down 6.6 pounds. Yay me. I really like the new point program they have because it factors in fat, fiber and protein instead of just calories. I fell full most of the time and can eat regular foods just in a healthier way. I also like that they promote exercise more than they used to.

I am off to make some pumpkin/cake mix muffins for treats.

MJ it was great talking with you. Thanks for taking the time to explain all that to me. I have increased my protein intake.

I have to go back and catch up on my reading of this thread I'm so far behind.

    Love you all, God Bless.

sleds and dogs -- when my niece lived in Alaska, she trained sled dogs for the Iditerod during the summer. It was a heavy sled on wheels and she would run them 20 miles twice a day. She kept very trim by running along side for 5 miles each time. -- Of course she was in her 20s back then. I have trouble walking over a mile -- heavy work is OK but the sustained walking is hard for me.

I just took down and cut up a 6" dia tree this afternoon. Fortunately it was light wood -- poplar/aspen so the chain saw went thru it like butter. We bought it on Tuesday and have been having fun with it. We take turns -- otherwise we would be fighting over our new toy.

There are so many other names for it. I truly recommend that everyone try a gluten free diet for two weeks to see if you feel better. If your bloated tummy goes down and your joints feel better, it's a possibility. I think there are lot of undiagnosed wheat allergies and celiac disease out there.

Another pound down!! Xylie, I'm staying ahead of you. You lost two, so I lost two. Catch me if you can! (I know you can, but I'll take any success I can get.)

BTW, when I did a 30 day juice fast for health reasons, I lost 15 pounds I didn't need to and they didn't come back.
Good job!And I like any success too.As long as I go down I'm ok.It's getting down this weekend to 100* for a high,so think the worst is over.Thank goodness,I'm always relieved when we get to September.I just do better when it's cooler and dryer.Dove season started the 1st,so have to be careful where we ride the scooters. These idiots out here this yr are shooting behind our houses, and their supose to be 500 ft away from a dwelling, both my neighbors here, and the old lady 1/4 mi. down the rd had pellets fall on their houses.I was outside and a pellet wizzed by me.You could actually hear the wizz as it went by.I was pissed!I got on my scooter to go back there, and my neighbor stopped me.So didn't make it.Crazy idiots!!!!Anyway,I can't wait to try out my smoothy machine. Now I can use these fruits on these trees more.

I was on a dogsled two years ago, but it probably won't happen again. Not my dogs - a local racing kennel offered rides for First Night, a New Year's Eve celebration.

Yay, Katvert. You'll have another good week now. Nothing succeeds like success!

I went out and helped hang quilts. I need to eat before I walk the furgirls - it made me hungry. Not very many quilts, but some very nice ones. It's a good thing nightshades don't bother my arthritis because my tomatoes are ripening faster than I can eat them. Some wildlife is eating my zucchini. Pumpkin muffins sound good. I like dried cranberries and walnuts in mine.

Xylie, I found a juicer at a thrift store. I have carrots and need to get some other veggies and apples. Carrot, apple and celery is good. When my son was stationed in Yuma, I had trouble finding decent apples. I wish you better luck.

he says since he wasn't hurt there was no sense in telling me. add insult to injury, he was given a ticket for 'careless driving' based on his own account and will have to go to court . i didn't tell him i went to salvation army and found a couple fall items to wear soon(whooppee) i love fall. and winter, and spring. oh, and summer. each haas something good!but my favorite colors are the fall ones in the northeast.
as for sharing olivia, she has enough shine for all of us, so yes, i will share, but i get to hold her the most. i miss her already!! i have seen her on skype and she is growing like a mushroom! i will post more pictures till you all tell me to stop! foodwise, i did better today, but didn't have an opportunity to drink my water. i lost my good water bottle and i really miss it! as soon as i find another one i'll be back in business! monkey needs to walk as she is getting quite pudgy and the dog door is getting tight.(probably shrank in the rain). i so wish i could send the water to texas. my kids are ok, but others' kids are not. i worry! well, it's 4 am. time to turn off qvc, put my computer to sleep, and try to sleep myself. keep well, sleep well, and i'll talk with you tomorrow!
Ohhhh, that's not good,That could be a huge deal.A big fine, higher ins premiums,Oil slick? If it was an oil slick,go imediatly and take pictures, believe it or not,my boyfried yrs ago got a ticket for that, and he choses to have a jury trial. The attorney said to take lots of pictures of the area in sequense. The guy was a senater and lived on that rd and said my boyfriend passed him on a no pass corner. He was driving a semi,my boyfriend. We went and took lots of pictures, and showed what happened.Only one attorney would even take the case as they were afraid of reprocussions being this guy was a senater.Well, we won!So if it was a oil slick,he may be able to beat it,or have it reduced down.Worth a look at it to see.And I know what you mean about your water bottle.I have a favorite too,And it's a 1 qt wide mouth plastic one with insulation and I also have it in a insulated foam bag with handles. It goes everywhere I go.I'd be lost with out it.It's hard to find a good bottle.Well, I wish you luck and hope hubby wasn't hurt. That's not good. Now your out of a car.Not even good.I wish you luck, and keep working on the weight no matter what.Don't let this upset you to where you binge,do something else. And yes,do keep Olivia on your posts.Maybe put her in your avitar. She's a keeper for sure!

Pumpkin muffins are out of the oven - yummy!!

    Super easy snack/dessert

1 15 oz can of pumpkin
    1 cup water
    1 package of cake mix

Mix all together (just cake mix - no eggs or oil) pour into muffin tin - Bake 350 for 30 minutes.

3 WW points (only 1 for the mini) - includes power food in the pumpkin.

I am told they freeze and defrost well. So I will be trying that.

**My store only had a 30 oz can of pumpkin - so I made one with carrot and one with a chocolate cake mix.

I wanted to pop in and let yall know what is happening with me!

Cathie and I are in Deadwood spending the weekend casino-hopping. We are just having a ball. Our room is nice and it works very nicely for us.

Sunday we are headed to Rosebud (an indian reservation about halfway from my house to hers) to spend the night in the bridal suite! Cathie surprised me with the news of our stay in Rosebud! We will have a hot tub in the room. Wow! That really sounds like fun!

Monday morning we are going to check out of the hotel and go to Cathie's house for a few days and then we are leaving again to go to Oregon/Washington state. We are going to surprise her sisters! They have never met me and have not seen Cathie since her dad died almost 2 years ago. This is going to be the shock of the decade for her family!

This is just the most fun I have had in YEARS and getting to spend it with the love of my life is just incredible!

I have my laptop and will post here and there but know I am thinking about all of you and all the victories you are having on the scales and all of the non scale victories!

    BIG MISSY HUGS TO ALL!!!!
