We're going to get the no needle flu vaccination this yr.Have to wait till DH is cleard by his Drs from his recent surgery.

Someone mentioned SF Jello...I can't use artificial sweetners due to migraines. They are great for dieters needing a little something sweet.Has anyone found a good NF popcorn? I usually save & count points for mine.

Bought a new salad dressing to try.Newmans Own light Ginger & Sesame. Can also use as a marinade.

Just a quick check in to let everyone know I'm here but going to be real busy the next couple of days.

Food was good yesterday, no exercise though. I have water aerobics today and then have to work at church cleaning and labeling the pantry.

Physical therepy is going good. They cut me down to one day a wewk with exercises to do at home. The pain is much better.

DH and I got our flu shot last week and I'm current with other shots I get. (Sounds like I'm talking about my furbabies LOL)

DGS had to go in for an emergency dental appt yesterday and the pulled one top wisdom tooth and scheduled another appt to pull the other top wisdom tooth. The 2 bottom ones will take an oral surgeon because they are growing sideways into the roots of the other teeth. Having never hads a tooth pulled before he is suffering greatly. The dentist said he shouldn't work for two days. Please pray for him through all his dental procedures. The dentist said his mouth was to small for all his teeth which is why his wisdom teeth are coming is at such weird angles.

Well I have to run, got things to get done before quilters this morning.

My prayers are with all those who are ill

I can do this One Day at a Time!

    Plainpat,
I just got my BIL a popcorn popper for the microwave that is essentially a bowl with a lid that you add in your own oil and popcorn. It got good reviews on amazon.

FYI on the new 'no needle' flu shot, my gf got hers that way & had a lot of pain from it...bruising & such. I had the old fashion shot & didn't feel a thing. if given a choice go for the old way!

On the flu shots topic, the regular needle is the best way. I remember when I was little we would get shots with what looked like an air pistol. It felt like the biggest bully in the world punched you in the arm, and it was bruised for weeks.

Still doing good on my weight loss. Down 3 pounds this month. 8 lbs total this attempt. Yeah me!

I just read where someone uses a paper lunch bag, 1/4 cup of popcorn kernals, and a piece of scotch tape to seal the paper bag.

She just folds over the bag at the top and tapes closed.

Has anyone tried this method, it certainly sounds cheap? and fat-free

Is that the new name for pleurisy? I've had it three times without pneumonia. It seems to be a common occurrence with Lupus. It makes it hard to breathe, that's for sure. The most interesting was in late pregnancy for my fourth daughter. Every time she moved, I went through the roof. Luckily, she was only moderately active, not like some of the others. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

My weight is holding. I've met my challenge for the month and I thought I was on my way to meeting Xylie's, but it's stalled again. Too much cupboard raiding last night. Exercise was good yesterday and I was mildly productive until I sewed into my finger. I yanked my hand back and bent the needle, too. I wasn't sewing. I was rethreading the needle and had my foot too close to the foot petal. Ended FMQ flowers on my quilt for the night. No blood wanted on the cream batik.

Dinner today? Bean soup sounds good. It's been raining. It's clearing now, but still chilly enough for soup. I love sun after a rain. Everything is so fresh.

BTW, Bob Evan's cider glazed chicken with a sweet potato and broccoli was very good. It actually was a bone in breast that had been baked, so it had more flavor than boneless grilled.

Jeanne, you make me jealous. I loved aqua aerobics. It was one of my passing additions. I plowed snow over the frame of my car and down a scary curving hill to get there every T,TH, and S. Have a good day. Working with a group is fun, but you'll be tired tonight. Those concrete floors are hard on a body.

Off to straighten the sewing room. Having three quilts going at once is messy if nothing else. Attic Windows are interesting, especially when they are different sizes.

Healthy eating, good exercise and smile.

I am losing weight and getting healthier.
