I am going to try the warm water. It is more of a mental thing because I have to remember to take tiny bites and chew like crazy. If I can remember that before I start eating and drinking then the rest of the day goes better. Who ever said that weight loss surgery was an easy way out have obviously not had weight loss surgery.

my best friend from high school had the stomach reduction surgery. we went to china together and it was sometimes very tough for her to eat new foods since she was never sure how it was going to go. i remember now how she would suddenly leave the table, and return a few minutes later much relieved. guess she was having the same sorts of problems. i admire your tenacity and strength! i know you will work it out!

Oh yeah. That would be what was happening. I have gotten to where if I get the food completely out and start over I do much better. Strange thing to do I know. Thank you so much though!!

Made it home. Glad to be home in the pretty sunshine.

Doc started me on a new med to help my heart. Details on my PDA.

I weighed up today but that is not surprising. What goes up will come down.

Missy, that is an awful way to start the day. Have you tried cottage cheese? You can only take small bites cuz there is nothing there to chew! I like it mixed with applesauce.

What's the pattern of the quilt? Do you have fabric left from the quilt that you could use. Saw a demo of scraps from a quilt made into binding. And no I don't remember where I saw the demo.

Unless the splurge messes with your blood sugar, but that's a different story. My hypoglycemic children can have sugar as long as they have food with it. D's cookies were made with brown sugar because I think it tastes sweeter with a smaller amount and half whole wheat flour for the extra protein. On one of his birthdays I started to make regular PB cookies for his class. He had make his. He felt if they better for him, then they would better for everyone. There were no complaints.

My weight is slithering up again. I don't know why. My food is good and I walked 4 1/2 miles yesterday - in two outings. One foot is a little sore today so I won't do that again - at least until next year's Crop Walk.

I melted the batting on my quilt last night. I've pressed polyester batting in the past, but I goofed on this one. Oh, well, it's only the outside edge. The Hobbs Poly down does quilt up nicely. Now to decide on a binding. I have never matched my binding to the outside border, but it's a narrow border and contrasting seems like too much, so it may have to be a matching one. Any ideas?

I am losing weight and getting healthier.

I have not tried cottage cheese yet. I am leaving again tomorrow but this time I am going with my mom so that she can play in a huge poker tournemont. While we are gone I am going to try to stick with soft things for breakfast like the cottage cheese, yogurt, etc. I hate barfing. *sigh*

Just poppin in to say hello. Doc says I am doing well and she may have misdiagnosed as I am recovering too quickly. See her again in 2 weeks. bleh

Had Papa Johns pizza for dinner - still have room for 200 calories if I need something more. My weight has been flat this month. I have not exercised in over 2 weeks now. My knees are loving it.

sleep well lynne!that sounds suspiciously like the dr was wrong and admits it. phew, what's the world coming to? xylie must be back out in the yard working. that's usually where she is when we don't here from her. hope cindy is doing alright. meant to ask her what hospital she's in. this is such a private world none of our family members know who to address to give us updates. expect it could be a few days before she'll be back on line, if even then. i will continue to keep her in my heart and prayers. mj-- how was your afternoon? do anything exciting? hope everyone had a good day!

Spent the afternoon laughing at the dogs playing in our front yard. We let the dogs run loose, our yard in front is huge and my dh has them trained to stay in the yard. They play chase with each other and the neighborhood cats and we laugh.

This evening had wonderful watermelon for supper. Will prbly make me pee all night, but oh, so good. The man said he picked it this morning, was so ripe it split open when we put it on the counter.

Tonight my neighbor came over with pictures of new FREE chihuahua puppies. I think lulu needs a sister....don't you? DH says 3 dogs are enough and it is true our pets are expensive.
