ladies, you have until the 3rd to let me know your loss. I have maintained, no gain or loss. I am happy with that with all the stress and craziness going on for me right now. Mom's appointments, planning her surgery, and working full time. It will get better.

I think I keep losing the same three pounds and then finding them again and again.

I lost five without trying. Not enough to win, but that's okay - it's not batiks.

I went outside to wash the carport enclosure to get it ready to paint. I changed my mind. There is a brisk wind blowing and if I'd turned the hose on, I would have been wearing way too much cold water. I did plant the last rose bush and do some weeding.

Dinner out tonight. I'm want beef, but I haven't decided where or what yet. My bean soup is delicious, but it will keep until tomorrow.

Pam, Yes my old stove was a ceramic topI was so frustrated with it. It had become really hard to cook on. Sometimes I would turn the burner on to high and it would be at least 3 minutes until it would start to sizzle. ( I am talking about water on the bottom of the pot from washing it) Other times it would be turned to low and just keep getting hotter and hotter. I had to stand right by it to cook as sometimes it's mood seemed to change in the middle of cooking. It started as just the one burner and spread to all of them. I do a lot of canning and it took about 1hour for the canner pot to come to a boil some days. So glad to be rid of it.
I am sure I'm not going to win this month. Unless a +1 is a winner. I need to get back to exercise. My allergies are awful right now. At times I nearly loose my voice with so much drainage. I almost felt like I had a fever last night. This usually lasts a week or 2 in the spring and fall.

Especially since December will be for Batiks, and this month of October is our own choice. What a wonderful variety we will get when we win.

We will all have to work really hard during the Christmas season with all those goodies everywhere. Thanksgiving is not too bad except for the pies, and other dessert goodies.

Well, Stress has caused me to gain this month. That and the Prednisone that I have been taking because of stress related issues. A couple more days and I can go off the Prednisone and the Antibiotics I have been taking.
I am feeling better, though still not sleeping all that well. It doesn't help that my DH has a cold and last night I'm sure the neighbors all the way down the street heard his snoring!!!

Prednisone will really do it. Years ago I was on prednisone, and I remember getting up during the night cooking something.
