Karen's dad passed away in April 2016. He may have been getting worse after Christmas and needing more of her time and energy. It's hard to go back to blogging if you've been away from it for a while. Even harder if it's a family issue that's taken you away.

Linda, thank you for posting this. I loved reading her blog as well and wondered about her when she stopped posting.

I know this is an older thread but I do check on it from time to time to see if anyone has info on Karen. Thanks for the post about her father's death. I did not subscribe to her blog but I followed it regularly and also on facebook. She is one of the rare ones who will actually reply to your emails and messages. She has NOT done that for some time. I think of her often and pray for her when I do. It is funny how "connected" you can feel in the cyber world. Blessings to all of you :-)
