NZ- those dresses look like you bought them! ( I bet they're better made than store bought). You did a great job. I'm excited for you!
    I loved being pregnant!!!

Your dresses are very pretty. I preferred tops and long shorts or long pants. My last is 50 yrs. old.

I always wanted four kids but, never happened. I helped raise our oldest Granddaughter so I guess she played the part of the 4th.

I am just enjoying my Great Grandkids now. Good luck.

    These look so comfy...congratulations!

I seldom wore dresses then (40-50 years ago) and seldom do now. As a farmer, jeans and shorts were better for me whether pregnant or not!.

Worked with all 3 babies. Got smart with the first one and bought 3 jumper-type dresses. I was able to wear my blouses underneath until the last month. Made tops so they were long enough to go over the baby bump. Best item I bought was PG jeans. In fact wore them out wilt first baby. Hmmm...still wear jeans a lot...lol

My children were born in 86, 88 and 89, three in a row. I wore nothing but maternity clothes for four years! When it was over, that was pretty much all I had.

I was rather new to sewing when I had my kids. I made a few tops but that's it. My SIL is an amazing seamstress. She made me a pair of jeans with a panel that I wore out practically. By jeans I mean they looked like jeans material but weren't. I can't remember what the fabric was. They were so comfortable.

NZ- my Mom never wore pants. I mean never! When I went to college I got a letter from my oldest brother telling me that Mom got pants!! Ha! It's still such a cute and funny memory. Growing up she never sported a pair. She wore what they called "house dresses". She always looked so feminine. But once she started wearing pants it was game over. Haha!!
My Dad always wore a suit. I have lovely pics of Christmases where he is sitting there with his suit on. People really knew how to dress back in the day!
