We finally have nice weather here....hard to believe that there was a frost in the suburbs just last week.
So, to do my part for saving energy, I am drying my sheets on the line outside. I do this all summer. I do my clothes out there, too, during the warm weather. Just LOVE the smell from fresh air dried sheets.
My hubby and I argue every year about the clothesline, and I am down to 1 line. But, he isn't going to win this one. My last clothesline is up to stay.

I looooove hanging my sheets out!!!!!!!! Today the sun came out for the first time in days!

We had to go to Amish Country to get good hardware for the line. There was nothing in Columbus that would last. I love my clothesline :D:D

The condo gods would rise up in wrath at a clothes line. But I still remember hanging stuff on the line when I was a kid and the wooden clothes pole props 'cuz otherwise they dragged on the ground...blue jean stretchers so they had a crease and dried nice looking?

I know that I'm the only one left on my block that does it...and an old Polish lady does on the next block. I may have to drive up and down a couple of alleys to see if anyone else dries outside.

I have asked my hubby to put one up for me this weekend!! I used to hate doing it as a child at home, but now that I pay the utilities, I would rather hang outside!!!

I got one of these umbrella clothes lines. DH put a pvc pipe in the ground. I store it away in the colder weather. You are right......nothing like the smell of outdoor sheets. I even like the towels......sometimes so stiff you get a spa treatment.
