Welllll ... with the new Alberta PM a lady, maybe here's hope in the west? And we'll have to wait a few days to see what happens in the other provinces!

I get mail from the US quicker than I get a letter mailed to me in my own city, I swear it takes a scenic tour with the Canadian Postal system.
For rates I've paid anywhere between $4-11 to have ladies here send me fabric. It depends on how much yardage they can make fit into an envelope. Trust me the ladies on here can wedge alot into an envelope, lol

I recently mailed some quilt books to Canada and what a mess. One week or so after I mailed it I get a call from the PO and have to go back in and fill out some forms about duty for Canada and a rRelease of Information form fir the US. I didn't take the phone number with me so I had to go back and get that and go back two days later and could not use the previous forms, wrong date. Whatva mess. The quilt books cost $16.45 to ship plies 3 trips to the PO.
