    I can't see yours, but, if you would double top-stitch all around the collar, sleeves, front and bottom, it looks purchased. P.S. If I could find the fabric, I'd make my 10 yr. old grandson one too. I will look for it.

    He wants ivy league buttons on the collar and I mad a loop on the pocket for a smaller button. I did stitch all around the collar and down the front. It also has slits on each side.

    Great shirt! My guess is he'll wear it open over a tee shirt. My 13 year old grandson, very picky, would probably love it, too!
