My former MIL always put clorox in her dishwater to wash her dishes with the soap. She said it would prevent cancer. She never had cancer so it must have worked for her LOL
I have been using the Clorox Bath method for about 10 years. My Dr gave me a printout to tell me how to do it. If you are interested, just Google "Clorox Bath for Food".

Well, how many of us actually eat an apple a day?
As it happens, I just bought an apple today (yes, just the one) and noted how thick the coating of pesticide was on it. I will of course wash it well, but even so, doesn't some of the chemical stuff penetrate to the inside? I really out to do the extra work to buy them at farmstands or the organic sections of stores.

Husband and I eat a half an apple with our oatmeal five days a week. We don't get alarmed by all the info floating around. Believe we won't die until it is our time. At least we won't die of starvation. We never peel them either.

I once had a banana right off the tree -- YUK !!! we never eat "fresh" bananas -- what we taste is after shipping and being picked green -- Now if I could have a peach and an apricot tree -- but I live in the wrong place -- sigh !!
