Ever have one of those days when you should have stayed in bed? Today was mine. First off our phone and internet was down all day because someone in the next town cut the phone line while doing some repair work. So went to work and that was a blast. Not! No phones, no credit card machine or ATM. I manage a convience store and it's no fun without the credit card machine since no one carries cash or uses checks anymore. Just love dealing with pissed off people all day. Came home still no internet so I thought I would stain a cabinet that I've had for 2 months but just never got around to staining, you know how that is when you have to check the board several times a day. LOL. Any way got that done, got stain all over my hands so cleaned them with paint thinner and started supper. Big mistake. Should have just had a sandwich. Decided on speghetti so got the pot of water going, grabbed the speghetti and when I went to open it someone had already opened the other end and I had speghetti all over the kitchen floor. So I'm on the floor picking up speghetti and of course my little Missy had to help. It was like trying to play pick up sticks with speghetti with a cat in the middle of everything. So got that done, grabbed another box and got it in to cook. Went to drain it and the strainer tipped over and I had hot speghetti all over the sink I just washed my hands in with the paint thinner. I forgot to clean the sink when I got done so now I have spegetti with paint thinner on it. Just about cried. So grabbed the last box of spegetti and got it cooked just in time for the DH to get home from work. Of course he remarked that I was a little late getting supper done. I told him be glad he got anything at all. Wanted to hurt the man but I didn't, just smiled and told him to enjoy his speghetti. Thankfully the phones and internet came back on after supper so now I can just relax and enjoy the board and hope that tomarrow is a better day. Thanks for letting me vent a bit. :)

There are days like that. They are not fun either.

I thought mine was bad and I only had to rip out the same piece three times. Love that ripper!

What a doozie! Sounds like you didn't lose your temper, though, so what a blessing for you. Sure to be rewarded with a better day ahead.

This too shall pass. If this is the worst thing that happened to you today you still have it made in the shade. When I am having one of these days, I stop and ask God for direction correction and I usually get a clear cut path and my whole day goes better. Try it.
