    Gorilla Tape, or a tent seam repair kit. Most outdoor stores carry them. They have a special tape and glue that are water proof.

    As soon as you said "tarp" I thought " NO WAY"! This sounds like a disaster project to me, and I would turn it down. But, heh, forewarned is forarmed, so make your own decision.

    since the trap is plastic, trying fusing it back together. check out the sites that tell u how to make fabric out of plastic bags. sorry, but my skills with computer r limited. have a great day.
