I see a protein, vegetable, starch and vitamin A with Kerotine. Sounds balanced even if it is a little strange on the combination

It doesn't sound that weird...my late father-in-law took sandwiches to work for lunch every day that consisted of the previous night's leftovers sandwiched between bread that was slathered with mayo. LOTS of mayo. Chili sandwiches, spaghetti sandwiches, turnip sandwiches...you name it and it went between bread! It turns my stomach just thinking about it!

Try this - bake up a few sweets, yams, whatever, using some for dinner and refrigerate the leftovers. The next night, slice the sweets about 1/2" thick, heat some oil in a large fry pan, add the slices and turn once when the first side is dark and caramelized. Repeat. Serve with light sour cream (or maple syrup if you must!). It's a nice, easy change from the fries.

I hear you on the maple syrup. Hubs loves potato pancakes with maple syrup and applesauce. gag.

I love fluffernutter sandwiches on soft white bread! Not so sure about the add ons. Butter and fluff sandwiches on soft white bread are good too. I think I'd choose chocolate pudding over the butterscotch, but I'm with you on the bacon add in!

So it is her birthday and she knows there is a really sweet and unhealthy cake coming, and she chooses to go back to basics with her lunch and have some vegetable juice, some bread, an egg... and this is wierd how exactly?
