Strange combo but most of the items are healthy.

Not me! SP fries are scrumptious drizzled with maple syrup!
Try this - bake up a few sweets, yams, whatever, using some for dinner and refrigerate the leftovers. The next night, slice the sweets about 1/2" thick, heat some oil in a large fry pan, add the slices and turn once when the first side is dark and caramelized. Repeat. Serve with light sour cream (or maple syrup if you must!). It's a nice, easy change from the fries.

I hear you on the maple syrup. Hubs loves potato pancakes with maple syrup and applesauce. gag.
Thanks for the tip, Woodster! I'll give it a try! I know DH will probably slather his in butter and sprinkle with a little cinnamon-sugar mixture. He's not crazy about sour cream or maple syrup. I'll try almost anything if it sounds good!

One of the best things I was introduced to over here was french fries and hot fudge - totally yummy  The nearby Denny's got used to a bunch of us going in after our dance class and ordering french fries plus a banana hot fudge royale ;-)
