I just love the ocean. I have never seen the east coast in person, but, maybe some day.

Franie, I have always wanted to go to Alaska but now that I am older and creaky I doubt that my bones could make it. Your photo is outstanding! Is that a tanker ship on the horizon? And those mountains....ah-h but they look so cool and calm. Down right hot here in the lower 48. But then again, it is the Fourth of July and harvest is winding up in western Missouri and eastern Kansas.

wow, is that one of the forest fires in your area? I live in the blue mountains , Meacham is sometimes the coldest spot in the nation, according to the weather news in the newspapers each winter. It does get cold here, with snow and ice and such..

new pics of the front yard- and our latest visitors- 2 fawns. I am about 15 feet from them. Last pics is "Noah's rock" a rock that juts out of the field. Our GS claimed it as his and we refer to it as Noah's. Each of the kids get their picture taken on it to show how they grow up.

This was taken from my front door as the sun was rising one morning.. the entire sky was this brilliant color , and what a special time it was , standing with a cup of coffee, to watch the world awake that day!

Yes that is a tanker or container ship in the background. I was waiting to see if anyone noticed! Those mountains are at least 25 mi across the inlet. That pic was taken in May this year.
