It was the house unit. and the new owners new that it and the furnance needed to be replaced eventually but we didn't expect eventually to be 3 weeks before we moved out. The sad thing is that it is cheaper to get the furnace and air done together then it is to get just the air conditioner. I hope the lawyer and the real estate agent have some good news for me.

that would work if it weren't for the fact that it has to be in working condition for the new owners. However... I talked to the lawyer. I have to fix it, if i have to get a new unit I have to go through the real estate agents and we will have negotiate that.... So we shall see.
