    Wow, I never thought of not-ironing my binding - I always iron it - I think it works great.

    I iron my binding in half (never thought about not, but I will try it). I use one of those hand held bias tape makers and thread it under a pin in the ironing board.

    I always iron my bindings and never had a thought of not doing so, It is up to you as to whether you think this item might be useful to you. Like most gadgets & notions, there are always likes & dislikes.

    That was very perceptive!

    Thanks everyone, for the comments. They helped me decide that this is not something I need. Have never had a problem making my own binding strip, so why get another gadjet? (Especially since storage space is at a premium right now, and I can't always find what I'm looking for as it is.)

    Took it back to Walmart today. :thumbup:
