we were passing thru Mt. Jackson, Va and the Mt Jackson thrift and gift store 540 477-3100 has a really nice looking fiddlebase treadle for sale with the removable coffin (?) top for $95. I know nothing about treadles except they are wonderful, but if someone in the area is looking...it looked like there are 2 numbers 44 X 4665 and then 478665. i'm not sure about the x..it could be a number.

I don't know if that is a good price or not, but I would have bought it if it looked in reasonable shape. I've been looking for one, but that one is way too far.
