This is a Singer I have, I can't find out how old this is I have had it about 20 years it has the bullet type bobbin.
the number on front of machine is AC078600
does anyone know about how old it is

Since yours is AC - it's a double letter prefix: http://www.singerco.com/support/mach.../double-letter
According to that link it was built in 1928, in the Elizabeth, NJ factory. it's a 127, and there were 10,000 made
