skinny arms

Probably an attempt for manufacturers to save money.
Also I see the younger women wear clothes that look like they have been painted on. Makers/designers they we can all fit into the same clothes. Women want to look like women, wish they would get it.

Can't stand to have tight sleeves and arm holes, not even mentioning accross the back. While my shoulders are broader than the norm I am not a linebacker. More and more I am thinking about making my own again to get a comfortable fit. Problem is will take time away from quilting.

Maybe the clothes are skinny again like the 60 ies but people sure are not. Maybe the resale store before they are gone out of normal sleeve clothes.

onemoe, thank you, thank you, thank you. I thought it was just me! I think they are forcing us into bigger sizes because they charge more for the bigger sizes. Guess its time to go back to making my own clothes again.

I've stopped buying women's sweatshirts, altogether. The sleeves are so skinny, they can't be pushed up, more than an inch. Land's End shirts now have skinny sleeves as well. I don't have big arms and still can't roll them up, without feeling as if I have Ace bandages around my arms. We ought to all start writing letters to the clothing manufacturers.
