It hasn't been allowed in Ohio for several years now. I used to barely be able to be in a restaurant before! It is so wonderful NOT to have smoking allowed in restaurants!

    What about where you live?
It is banned in most places in Texas, thank God. It made me sick to smell it & breathe it.

They just banned it in Alabama a couple of years ago. I used to smoke and quit years ago. Whenever I walk by someone who smokes, I wonder how I ever did that. Yuck!

The list of states that ban smoking is long......One restaurant we've gone to a lot here in Oregon said their revenues went UP when the ban was enforced....more customers than before!!

As far as I know, smoking was banned in restaurants in MD. At least, I haven't been someplace that allowed it in forever, for which I am very glad. The smell makes me feel nauseous.

Banned in NY...they have also banned it within 500 yards of school and hospital entrances. I wish they would ban it for store entrances, nothing worse then going into or out of Joann's with people standing right at the door with butts hanging from their mouths, so gross!!
