In Nevada, according to state law, smoking is not allowed in any restaurant or bar that serves food. But you might have to walk through a smoke-filled casino to get to a smoke-free restaurant.

Many, if not most poker rooms are smoke-free as well but that's just because most poker players don't smoke, so a lot of the casinos ban smoking in their poker rooms.

Banned in Georgia several years ago but there is some rule that allows some bars to have smoking areas....maybe if they make more than half their income from alcohol???? I never figured it out but we're mostly nonsmoking here.

It is illegal to smoke inside restaurants here in Washington. Plus you must be 25 feet away from any window, door or ventilation system. Plus most counties are now stating that there will be no smoking on their property. (Enforcement is not very good.)

OK it is banned, unless restaurant serves alcohol.
We don't go those places. IHOP actually has their smoking room back and think with the wall of glass the smoke can't get out..hello, air ducts....morons...we don't go there any more either...shame too..

I was a smoker for abt 20 years off and on in my life and did not realize how offensive it can be until I quilt. Now I am allergic to ANY kind of smoke not just ciggs. I have to say I really feel sorry for offening people in my past. Ciggs. STINK I do mean STINK :) I live in Nevada and I think I hear they would like to ban Ciggs. from Casino's, don't think it will ever pass. To much money is spent in these places and one of Nevada's main attractions.

Banned in PA..thank GOD! I would get so sick sometimes even when they had smoking areas. I could end up with such sinus problems. NOw diagnosed with macular degeneration and was told to not be near any second hand smoke. I know it is an addiction and people enjoy it...but they dont realize the health effects on others.
