I think I'd be tempted to cross April 16th off the calendar before it got here!!

Just be glad it was not a tornado or 2 ft of snow.

riding out the tornado last Saturday here in wichita was enough for me. Glad it has been nice since then. The weather here in the mid west is so unpredictable I would hate to be a weather man. It seems to change by the hour so they are usually wrong. how deflating that must be. Hopefully it will be the last snow for you this year. Here the summer is just bad too.

In 1973 it was reported that we had 2 feet of snow on April 9. I knew it was a lot, but didn't realize it was that much until it was reported in a local paper last week. We didn't see the school bus the rest of the year because the roads became bottomless.

Sounds like New England! We had 90 degree weather on Monday. Will be in the 30s tonight. We've had virtually no snow this winter and little rain. Supposed to get a soaker this weekend...we need it badly.I don't mind the snow (I am a snowmobile rider) and the rain "refills" my well. Would rather have cool, wet or cold, snowy weather than 90 degrees and humid. Who was it that said "don't like the weather, wait a minute and it will change" (or something close to this...was it Mark Twain???) Just my 2 cents...whatever weather you have at your place, ENJOY and have a wonderful day!
