oh my, i wish you'd come over to my house and re-do my bathroom floor. my hubby put down some stick on tile over some he couldn't get removed. well, they all didn't stick well and are slipping under the others. it looks a royal mess!!

What a great deal! Looking forward to seeing it. I like tiling too and did the bathroom in my last house. I got glass tile for around the fireplace in my current house and my son put it up.

Excellent....and good for you doing your own tiling. We are off to buy tiles soon - we are currently kitchenless...whole room is empty and freshly painted, waiting for our cabinets and tops to be constructed. We bought all the appliances at half price months before the project went ahead (just as well the kids moved out...plenty of storage space!).

I haven't done much tiling, my husband is really good at it (bit of a Mr fixit kind of guy) so he gets to do it at our place. I just do some mosaics on benches and pots etc. tiling is a very satisfying thing to do. My mother tiles, lays bricks and is a keen painter and decorator.

Sometimes there are courses at the bigger hardware outlets and short courses through technical colleges....a skill well worth learning.

Thought you might like to see a pic of the tiles I bought. Hopefully I can get them up before too long!
