We're watching (tonight) and going to the final games of the Canadian Men's Brier - curling! Woot woot! These curlers are amazing - precision shot-making. Our kids got us a 10-pack of tickets for games all week long, so we've been there lots!

I LOVE CURLING!!!! Next to ice hockey and figure skating, it is my FAVORITE Olympic sport. Not too many people here in So. Cal get into it, but I love to watch the sport.

weekend started today for us as the kids had no school, drove 2 hours away to go the Outdoor Sportsman show....except its not until next weekend!! OOOPPPS! So, wonderful husband said no big deal and took us all out to an early dinner at Bonefish Grill (yum). Tomorrow is a Boy Scout patrol leaders meeting for my older son, then I get back in front of the sewing machine. I am making 2 hooded towels that are ladybugs and, if I get those done, I will work more on my Hunters Star for my niece. Plus Mass and some horse grooming. :) Busy, busy.

I want to make one more block for the "Moda Just one Block" for the soldies quilts, and work on my "Jamaica" landscape quilt. I've done most of the water and about to "land" on the beach and I'm having a problem with the conversion. I'm also not 100% sure about the water I have done - thinking of pulling it and starting over.

I'm heading to Tuscon to babysit while my DIL does workshops at a Book Fair and promote her book she has published about a teenager in South Africa. I don't know the name but you can find it on the internet she uses the name J L Powers.

Tomorrow I am going to a quilt show and then to my DS's house to watch the grand kids so their Mom and Dad can go out for a while.
Sunday I hope to finally get back to working on my latest quilt! :D

I'm getting my Tin Lizzy LS 18 with the table on Thursday. I'm trading in my Tin Lizzy 18. Can't wait. Let me know if how it works. Would love a PM from you.
