I am having a quiet, do what I want, if I want weekend. I am involved in an organization that sends a signed, heart felt msg in Christmas Cards and they are sent to Veteran Hosps. all over the US. In 2008 the founder set her goal of 450 Cards & made that. 2009 she set her goal at 900 & met that. 2010 she set her goal at 10,000 & made that. She sent out Cards to 56 facilities across the US. 2011 her goal is 20,000 Cards. I have already given her 2000 signed Cards that I have done this year and have another 2000 here to do. One of the local WalMart Stores here donated over 25,000 Cards right after Christmas. So between some shopping, eating, watching Chickflicks, I will be signing Cards. Here is the website for The Art Of Encouragement. She also does a Hero of the Month ea month. So check out the sites & if you have a Hero in the Military, nominate them and tell their story. I hope all of you have awonderful weekend!~

A fellow in downtown OKC owns some property & he is donating an office space for this organization with a lg conference room to be shared with the Blue Star Mom's. I think that is so cool! Ashley Hyde a 23 yr old fabulous young woman is the founder of this foundation. She was Miss Altus in 2008, I think. She is such a fun, wonderful person. I just love being around her. Check out the site please.

Strip Club at the LQS then off to another LQS and hopefully get fabric for curtains and runners for my dining room. Sunday I want to get them started, at least everything cut.

'been planning on taking some stacks of sewing supplies up to the sewing room IF my legs don't fail me. It seems like most of my "treasures" are around the rest of the house because it is difficult for me to climb the stairs! I think I got too old too fast!

Today (Saturday), I am meeting with a group of Ladies from this board in Granbury. We have had one meeting prior to this and it was so much fun to meet everyone.
