So what are everyone's plans for the weekend?

I am visiting a quilt friend who had a stroke last week after knee surgery. She was bitten by the quilt bug a few years ago and is so concerned she might not be able to continue. So a few of us are going to visit and cheer her up. Then I'm going to put a final border on one of my UFO's and hopefully start putting a carry-all bag together to hold rulers, etc. Will post pix when I get them done.
Oh--forgot to say I need to fit in pick up my house, shop for groceries and do some laundry.

Today was our regular Quilts of Valor bee group associated with the Prairie Quilt Guild in Wichita. Two more rows and I will have a D9P done and two borders will complete the second quilt done in Labyrinth pattern.
Sunday am is church - hope I remember to turn clocks forward - and then it's off to the Farmers Wife Sampler group at Sunflower Quilts in Derby, KS.

Went to a small local quilt show instead of the one in Atlanta this Saturday. Enjoyed the day with a friend I am encouraging to work on a quilt kit she bought a couple of years ago. Then we took in a bunch of yard sales in the Peaches to Beaches event along hwy 341 in GA and FL. All good except for the fall I had 1st thing. In all that, it was good because the bag I made and took with me miraculously floated up under my face and saved it from the cement sidewalk! My lip was numb for a while afterwards. I'm so thankfull, it could have been much worse.
