Sorry, I have no box with a little tree in it to upload my picture so I must explain. It is a giant Christmas Cactus with white flowers with fushia centers and fushia flowers with white centers. The plant is 3' across. It started blooming last week and is still loaded with even more ready to pop open.

Usually Christmas/Easter cactus are killed by too much attention.

If you don't see the little box for uploading pics, you might need to change your settings on your account. Go to the top of the page and click Settings. At the left side of the page, you will see a column. Scroll about halfway down until you see General Settings, and click it. Scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page until you see "Miscellaneous Options" in a gray bar. Underneath this, make sure the option "enhanced interface" is selected.

After you select this, go down to the bottom and click "save changes".

I keep it outside from April till November but when you bring it inside it must receive the light from the exact direction inside and outside. I didn't follow that rule and it lost every single leaf. I moved it and was ready to discard it when suddenly it started sprouting leaves. I have had this plant for 14 years when we lived in the mountains and it received nothing but spring water. I think it didn't like the chlorine that's in our water here in the city. I bought a Big Berkey and filter all of our drinking and cooking water and now the water for all of my plants. They are all thriving now.

If someone could explain how to get the picture up I would gladly do it.
