    I have a bunch of 2 inch strips of material left over from various quilt projects. So this is what I've been doing lately....

    my first bowl

    When I was making it, my husband kept asking what I was going to put in the bowl. So far, I've put candy in it. One person put potpourri in hers.

    At the moment I'm just having fun weaving them :)

    That is so cool. Love the addition of the charm. Where can one find this pattern or instructions? I have an abundance of jelly rolls stuffed everywere

    I found a pattern at my LQS. It's called Hand Woven Bali Basket by Common Thread Designs. I didn't follow the pattern exactly - I made a few changes. For example, I folded the fabric, both sides to the middle and ironed it. It was easier to manage that way and I used the large needle only in the beginning.
