My fibro specialists says fibro brain fog is a common problem not only with us who suffer with fibro (and Chemo as mentioned earlier) but is also common to those withthe Epstein-Barr virus :-(

wow! There is a name for this? It's not early Althiemers(?spell)
Just googled fibro fog. I've had this for years and thought it was early senility. Will be going to the health food store, stock up on magnesium, and see if that works! Will report back any results:)

you will find a good benefit with magnesium...but don't forget to check into fish oil too. And if you are struggling with this brain fog, be sure to have your thyroid checked. Those of us with fibro, brain fog, and any number of other aliments, often find some relief with our thyroids are functioning better.....at least this all has been the approach of my fibro specialist. He uses western and "eastern" medicines, approaches, herbs, and vitamins in the treatment plans of his patients....I just love this man...he has been a huge help to me personally.

OH NO! You didn't just say that!

I have BOTH fibro and EB, so I'm doubly cursed. No wonder I tend to forget things. I'm also getting older. So a TRIPLE blow!

It's why we start to make lists, and do things always in a routine, we do things in stages, taking breaks, then more and more breaks.

I was not a nurse. But some years ago had several severe illnesses all at the same time. It can happen if you start with a cold and then push through getting things done without resting and getting well. Your sick immune system just cannot fight off any other viruses that you come in contact with so you get them as well. I got a cold, and was moving both my mom and myself and everyone around me didn't believe me when I said I was really sick and needed more help. They all thought I just had a simple common cold. Got the cold, then bronchitus, then pneumonia, then CMV virus, then EB virus, then fibro. They wanted me in the hospital but I had just brought my mom home from 3 1/2 month hospital stay.

we always used to ask that question of my mother--she had two stock replies. 1-I get better answers that way or 2-no other person sensible enough to talk to...

I talk to myself just because!
