You did the right thing. Your daughter will never forget to be kind and caring with a mom like you. A joy in my life is the little dog I rescued two years ago at Christmas, cold and wet in a ditch. I never thought I was a dog person but one look at her eyes and my heart melted. I knew my home would be her home. DH wasn't thrilled but he knew I wasn't going to ask for his permission. Now Bella sleeps on his side of the bed. LOL. I hope the person that dumps a dog or cat never have anything but a sorry life.

Glad he found a forever home! He's beautiful.
In July my DD found a very skinny, sweet golden retriever.
We debated whether we should spend the money on getting her healthy again, she was heartworm positive. We're very glad we decided to help Molly, she stole our hearts. She has had all her treatments now and is getting healthy. She has put on 15# and her fur has grown in beautifully.

    day one, very skinny Molly

3 months later. Molly in center,Choop (left),Annie the Westie and Terra the lab mix. Dh bribing them with snackies to sit still.
